Posted in General  by Shaun Bradley

Many users having been waiting and requesting for ways to upgrade OrangeHRM to its latest stable release, however at this point we have not completed developing the automatic upgrader, but we have provided the steps with clear descriptions for a manual upgrade on our OrangeHRM Wiki.

Users using have to initially upgrade to 2.6.1 and then to 2.6.2 and please make sure you follow the steps on the Wiki exactly as mentioned and get a backup of your current system before you attempt the upgrade.

We are also happy to inform that OrangeHRM 2.6.3 will be released soon along with an upgrader.

Please feel free to contact us if you require any assistance or if you encounter any difficulty during the upgrade.

2.6.3 is out, still no upgrader and no decent upgrade instructions. And still, many useful features are not part of the free version. As I see it, this is forcing us to pay for support - and maybe a GPL violation.
